Trish has been a senior leader in schools for over 19 years, she trained as a coach in order to enrich her practice in developing colleagues. She is firmly committed to the power of coaching to bring out the best in teams, and individuals and helping people to grow and flourish in both life and work. Coaching enables us to reflect on difficult situations and address them from different perspectives. It gives us courage to live by our values, face our fears and go for our dreams. Through her training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and her own coaching relationship with an accredited CPCC coach, she is able to develop strategies to be more engaged in the moment, to address the balance between the ‘doing’ and the ‘being’. She champions a healthy work-life balance, a more mindful approach to how we live and an inquisitive, growth mindset in all we do.
Trish has coached many colleagues towards middle and senior leadership posts and leadership teams in; working as a more effective collective, transitional change, and how as individuals, they lead effectual, resilient teams. She has acted as a personal coach to members of staff in helping them successfully find their own solutions and also volunteers as a coach on the DfE initiative, Women in Leadership.
Trish has also been a teaching and learning consultant, an Ofsted Inspector and an NCSL mentor and currently works as a leadership consultant and coach in a school in East London as well as a maths consultant and coach in another. She also coaches private clients in different work sectors including charities and small businesses.
